If your priority is an exotic sports car or convertible, consider what happens to arrival-day luggage. Separate the airport transport system from your rental handover
MIA’s official ground transportation page explains the airport’s public transport and Rental Car Center connections. Use Miami International Airport ground transportation information to understand the airport facilities. Those facilities do not establish a collection point for an MHP rental.
Use only the meeting instructions confirmed for your booking. Request the exact address or permitted meeting point, contact method, timing and what to do if a flight is delayed. If no arrival arrangement has been agreed, arrange your onward transport separately instead of assuming a car will be waiting outside the terminal.
Send a complete arrival request
Include the travel date and flight arrival time, allowing for baggage collection and any arrival formalities when proposing a handover. Add the passenger and suitcase count, the exact listing name and any essential feature. Identify your preferred contact method so the team can clarify details.
State your return date and time separately from your departure flight. Ask where and when the vehicle must be returned and how you will reach the airport afterwards. Leave enough time for the agreed inspection, onward journey and airline procedures; this guide does not prescribe a universal airport buffer.
Confirm the total and the delay plan
Ask for an itemised quote showing the base rental charge, applicable taxes and fees, deposit, mileage, fuel and any agreed collection or return services. Clarify whether the proposed rental period meets the duration rules for that vehicle. Airport-related arrangements and waiting charges, if any, need explicit confirmation.
A four-day base calculation for the BMW X7 xDrive40i at its published $400 daily rate is $1,600 before additional charges. This is a budgeting example, not a confirmed airport package. Before reserving, ask how flight changes affect the handover and how extensions or a changed return time would be handled.
